Britain all-rounder Ben Stokes has put himself forward for the lucrative Indian Premier League.

The 25-year-old will now go into the IPL sell off on 4 February.

The Twenty20 competition keeps running from 5 April to 21 May, however Stokes is probably going to be required in England's one-day arrangement against Ireland on 5 May.

"It's a decent chance to leave and experience diverse rivalries," said Stokes, who has played 18 T20 internationals.

Britain start a one-day arrangement against India on Sunday.

Feeds' worldwide colleagues Sam Billings and Jos Buttler are now contracted to IPL groups, while Jason Roy has put himself forward for the bartering.

Alex Hales and restricted overs skipper Eoin Morgan are likewise anticipated that would be in the bartering, in spite of the fact that it is not yet clear to what extent England will permit them to play for.
