Kim Dotcom can be extradited, New Zealand High Court rules

Kim Dotcom, the organizer of substance sharing site Megaupload, can lawfully be removed to the US, New Zealand's High Court has ruled.

Dotcom is needed by the US on various charges including misrepresentation and copyright encroachment.

Three other Megaupload denounced can likewise be removed, the court stated, maintaining a prior decision in the District Court

The four have said they will request against the choice.

Mr Dotcom has since a long time ago contended he was not in charge of the substance others shared on his site

Megaupload, which was closed down in 2012, permitted a huge number of individuals to download films and melodies.

The High Court decided that the denounced couldn't be removed on the premise of claimed copyright encroachment since "online correspondence of copyright ensured attempts to the general population is not a criminal offense in New Zealand".

However the judge said that they could be removed on the extortion charges, as they are violations in New Zealand law.
